Hideaway<\/mark><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nestled in the Welsh coastline is T\u0177 Clyd, meaning ‘cosy house’, a gorgeous 18th century cottage that has been lovingly refurbished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our initial site visit, we were struck by the sense of enclosure and opening throughout the garden which eventually led to the incredible coastal views. We decided to run with this feeling and design a series of nooks and pockets throughout the garden, each with their own distinct feeling and function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In and around the Welsh slate walls, drought-tolerant coastal planting will weave through the garden and be encouraged to self-seed over time. Plus, in a few carefully selected areas, we are embracing resilient plants that will thrive in the construction waste substrate left behind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
